Responsibilities: Prepare and set up machines; machine and inspect workpieces; operate multiple machines; rectify faults; carry out maintenance and repair work; independently check manufactured workpieces for compliance with the highest precision standards; make minor changes and adjustments to CNC programs; maintain and inspect equipment, machines and systems; check measuring and testing equipment for compliance with calibration intervals; inspect workholding fixtures before and after each machined batch. During one year of professional practice, qualification is provided for operating multiple machines at selected CNC machining centers and machine tools, as well as for operating industrial trucks.
