We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on technical leader at Senior or Principal level to lead a team of Data Scientists and AI Engineers. The team develops GenAI applications to support decision-making throughout the entire product lifecycle. Responsibilities include setting the technical direction, guiding architecture and implementation, mentoring the team, and translating business and scientific requirements into robust GenAI solutions. The focus is on designing and orchestrating multiple agents and data sources to deliver trustworthy, grounded, verifiable and reference-based results with clear traceability to the underlying evidence. This includes evaluation, hallucination control, validation, observability and human oversight where necessary. The applications must be production-ready, scalable, performant, reliable, secure and cost-efficient, and support multiple concurrently active users. Expectations include critically evaluating new technologies, making pragmatic technology decisions and advancing the technical capabilities of an experienced team.
